This product was created to restore life to tired looking knitwear. The abrasive surface is made from recycled glass and is designed to lift pilling away from the surface of knitted fabrics. The manufacturer began in a cramped basement in Washington, U.S.A.

Today, the Sweater Stone is assembled in 'sheltered' workshops giving employment to people with disabilities.
